Processing

Once submitted, your loan moves into processing. Depending on the transaction, valuation may be completed through a desktop review or an in-person appraisal.

04

Underwriting

Once the documentation and valuation are complete, the file is prepared for underwriting. If the final valuation supports the anticipated ARV, the loan moves forward for approval. If the valuation changes the transaction, RELM provides a revised loan cost summary before submission.

05

Approval

Once approved, the transaction moves into closing preparation. The Closing Attorney and Title Company coordinate required documents and confirm the final fees, terms, and borrower information. Once everything is ready, you will be contacted to schedule settlement.

06

Closing

Fund the required amount, sign your closing documents, and receive the keys. After closing, RELM provides instructions for the construction Draw Process so you know how to request funds from your approved renovation budget as the project progresses.
